Athletics are an integral and invigorating component of the CA experience. In addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle, athletics at CA teach students leadership, teamwork, competitiveness, and fairness. Participation also encourages social interaction and promotes personal growth for students.
CA is proud of its winning tradition and the sportsmanship of its athletes. Our teams have held state championships for men’s soccer, women’s soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse. In addition, our no-cut policy ensures that all students have equal access to each and every sport. CA has consistently won the Colorado High School Activities Association Sportsmanship Award.

The Newton Athletic Center and the outdoor facilities provide students with two gymnasiums, a Nautilus weight room, an indoor track and climbing wall, an outdoor pool, five athletic fields, a baseball diamond, a state-of-the-art turf field, and four outdoor tennis courts.
Mustang Nation is a group of volunteer parents that encourages school spirit and attendance at CA’s Upper School athletic events while supporting CA coaches, athletes, and the athletic director.
